In Train Your Brain Workshop, you will learn about healthy habits to keep your mind sharp. While “use it or lose it” is good advice, it takes more than puzzles and games for your brain to age well. Just as the body needs exercise to maintain optimal health, brains need a workout too. Recent studies suggest that “use it or lose it” is good advice for brain fitness. However, puzzles and games may not be enough to stay sharp and age well.

We will review:

• Common mistakes that slow the brain down.
• Diet and exercise tips to reduce inflammation and boost memory.
• The basics of brain training and how to make it work for you.
• Five key brain assets and the fun activities that work them out.
• Personal neuroplasticity plan to help your brain get better with age.

In addition, attendance at this class includes a copy of the book Better with Age: The Ultimate Guide to Brain Training.
